Experienced RiderCourse® (ERC)

Experienced RiderCourse® (ERC)

The Experienced RiderCourse® (ERC) is a one-day course designed for riders who already have basic skills and possess a motorcycle license. Students use their own registered, state-inspected motorcycles for range exercises. The ERC provides an intensive hands-on approach to motorcycle rider training. The course focuses on a variety of crash avoidance maneuvers, control at low speed, cornering finesse and limited space maneuvers. This course is a great refresher to start the season.

Students are responsible for providing the following protective clothing: eye protection, full fingered gloves, sturdy footwear that completely covers the ankles, long sturdy pants and a long sleeve top such as a jacket or sturdy shirt. Students may bring their own DOT approved 3/4 or full face helmet or use one of our loaner helmets which are available at each course.

Upon successful completion of the course, including passing a riding evaluation, riders will receive a completion card as proof of attendance in this safety course.

Experienced RiderCourse® Highlights

  • A way to test and improve your riding skills.
  • Ride through the exercises on your own bike!
  • Courses will run, rain or shine.
